Final Inspection - Broad Building Inspections

A final inspections gives you peace of mind for you new property purchase.

If you have found your dream home and already had an offer accepted, let Broad Building Inspections carry out the final inspection either on your behalf or with you and the selling agent.

Broad Building Inspections can help you to make sure any conditions under your contract that require the owner to carry out works prior to settlement have been done correctly and to standard.

We will also walk through the whole property with you to try and make sure there are no hidden surprises that will crop up post settlement.

We provide a full detailed report including:

– Any structural defects that have not been remedied
– Building code violations
– Expected renovation or repairs

Our reports are easy to read with photographs and simple easy to follow descriptions. We provide a fully independent inspection and point of view. We work for you not the agent or seller so you know that the information you receive is impartial and fair.

light fixtures including pendants
water taps and mixers (check outside for hose taps as well)
tap spouts
water filtration system
plugs for sinks and basins
washing machine taps
sinks (check that don’t leak)
toilets (check that flush)

door handles
window dressings
shower rose and hand shower
exhaust fans
ceiling fans
heating unit
hot water service
pool pump
garage door (check that works + remote)
smoke detectors
door locks
window locks
blinds
